The History of Future Visions

Background

During 2005 four passionate young professionals started
the organisation with the vision to empower the youth
of Rustenburg in order to reach their full God given
potential. The founders of the organisation realised
through extensive experience of working with youth that
the youth are lacking skills, knowledge, interests and
guidance in order to envision the future. All the
programs that the organisation has implemented in the
last 5 years were based on the needs identified within
the local communities and specific target groups.

All programs are well research and internationally
recognised. In some instances programs were
adapted to adopt South African culture and
characteristics.

Baby think it over

The innovative program “Baby think
it over” uses a lifelike, life-sized
baby doll with realistic computerized
responses. It is anatomically correct
and available in both sexes and five

Youth Empowerment

Future Visions runs a number of
projects where the youth are made
aware of things like teenage
pregnancies, sexual abuse, AIDS,
ect. We aim to empower and create
a brighter future for the youth of
